My name is Janette Leonhardt, and I’m thrilled to have you here as I embark on this exciting chapter of my life—dedicating myself fully to the world of art.

I live in the beautiful northern Utah, a place where the mountains meet the sky, and inspiration is never in short supply. I share my life with my wonderful husband, and together we’ve raised four incredible children who have since married, blessing us with four more wonderful children and two adorable grandchildren. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and their support has been instrumental in my journey as an artist.

Art has always been a constant in my life. Some of my earliest and fondest memories involve drawing and crafting alongside my mom, who was not only an amazing artist but also an art teacher. Those moments spent creating together, with my siblings often joining in, are treasures I hold dear. My father, a construction company owner, also played a role in shaping my skills, occasionally taking me to work to help out. Those experiences, combining creativity with craftsmanship, have left a lasting impression on me.

Now that my children are grown and flourishing in their own lives, I’ve decided it’s time to pursue my passion for art full-time. It’s a dream I’ve nurtured for years, and I’m excited to share this journey with you.

When I’m not in my studio, you’ll likely find me outdoors, soaking in the beauty of nature, traveling, or exploring new places. I have a deep love for car shows, art festivals, and community activities—anything that brings people together and celebrates creativity. Through my art, I find peace and joy, and it’s my mission to pass that along to you, my collectors, and viewers.

I believe that art has the power to bring happiness, to uplift the spirit, and to connect us to something greater. My hope is that through my work, I can spread a little more joy in the world.
