In Radiant, a luminous butterfly spreads its wings across a richly layered background of warm gold, amber, coral, muted turquoise, and earthy green. Deep black markings give the butterfly strength and definition, while flashes of orange, yellow, and soft red seem to glow from within its wings.
The background is built through expressive paint, tactile texture, translucent layers, and subtle botanical elements. Marks and fragments emerge and disappear across the surface, giving the painting the feeling of something discovered through time—fragile, weathered, and beautifully alive.
